　　1. 表示道歉(比 I‘m sorry. 更正式，也说 Pardon me)，意为：对不起。如：

　　A：I beg your pardon，I suppose I should have knocked. 对不起，我想我本来应该敲门的。

　　B：That‘s quite all right. 那没关系。

　　2. 表示没听清或没听懂对方的话，请对方再说一遍 (也说Pardon，说时用升调)，意为：请再说一遍；对不起，我没听清。如：

　　A：Turn off the light，please. 请把灯关掉。

　　6. 用来对别人的冒犯或无礼表示威胁，意为：你再说一遍。如：

　　A：You cunt！你这笨蛋！
